It
is in the small details of a room we expend the most
thought, time and imagination. And, oh yes, courage. Our
goal for our homes should be a place with memories,
successes and endearing flaws.
What is important is not that a house be dazzlingly free
of errors of taste and maintenance, but that it be
richly human, extending a welcome and a sense of
belonging to all who enter. It's the details of
"celebrating the individual" that make that
possible. |
