As
far back as I can remember, I was always designing something.
This interest was formalized with degrees in merchandising,
retailing and interior design, along with a period of study in
Europe. Continually renewing my
education and qualifications helps me create interiors
that match my clients' personalities.
As to the "certain
look" many designers acquire after years of experience, I
believe clients expect a level of quality and taste -
"polished, finished, professional" - not a certain
look.
I do not have a design style
that has evolved, but have reached several plateaus to get me
where I am today.
The challenge is to interpret the taste and
lifestyle of the client...it's figuring out all the pieces to
the puzzle, then figuring how to assemble them into a functional
and
beautiful space.
The services I provide can be narrowly focused or comprehensive and complex. It's the client's call.
I'm intrigued by any project that pairs me with a client who shares my enthusiasm for good design. The style the client prefers is the style I seek to express. |
